In 2008, Earth House, a project based at the army camp, began and continues today. This project is open free to the public.
The concept for the earth house was to have a long-term project in which an entire structure would be built from the ground up using all natural materials and traditional building methods. There were and are many steps in this fascinating process.
Masters in the various earth house traditions are invited to have workshops and give demonstrations of ancient specialized skills. Stone master, Bamboo master, and Mud-brick master have all conducted workshops which continue today.
